WHY UNUSUALLY FIGURINES ARE THE BEST IN ALL AVENUE ?

To all gals & guys who pop by my Unusually Blog or my Unusually Website at http://www.unusually.com.sg/. By looking at the picture posted, you will see why Unusually figurines are always the best in quality & resemble.

Actually we founded Custom 3D Caricature Figurine or Doll 13 years ago. We had been awarded as the "Founder Of Custom Made 3D Figurine". Right now, our figurines were sold globally either by ourselves or through franchisers, distributors etc.

Right now in the markets globally, we would gladly claimed that at least 80% - 85% who were in this trade were our former artists trained by us.

For consumers who were interested in this products...Looked for best quality & resemble as this were the main purposes of getting this products.

There were some peoples trying to claim or post themselves as the maker of these figurines. But basically they were just distributors or franchisers carrying these products. And that was why they had no control of the quality etc. Plus their suppliers were using inferior materials and inexperienced artists ...

As for us, we had been working with big brand's and also supplied to cooperate companies, politicians etc (Eg. Taiwan & US President's Election Custom Bobblehead Figurines Of the candidates ...) As our quality of materials used were on the top range quality. It had been send for testing and will be safe to sell globally.

AN ENQUIRES THROUGH " WORDS OF MOUTH "

After 5 years of efforts. Right now, relied alot on past customers referrals & also through words of mouth as mainly doing online right now.

We had ran a few push carts before these few years at Plaza Sin, Parkway Shopping Centre, Bishan Junction 8 etc. We also worked with few distributors before. But eventually right now decided to mainly concentrate to do it online and also handle all orders, enquires etc personally.

Over these 5 years, did realise that distributors will tend to just concentrate to make money and always neglected customers concerns & benefits. And they will also push the prices higher in order to make more money plus they will also feed customers with wrong info's ...

Thought your dolls would make such great gifts. How much would it cost to make ten personalized ones? Last I heard, one was about 30bucks? This was an order from US...It was ordered as an full custom bobblehead figurine based on their required posture, dressing & attires.

Initially customer's was worried that we would not be able to do out the checker lines on the short and also the wordings on the shirt. But after seeing the completed figurine's. They were truly happy & satisfied.

The height of full custom figurine will be usually around 15cm in height unless customer's request to make it shorter as they are using it for their wedding cake topper purposes.

PERSONALISED 3D CARICATURE FIXED OR BOBBLEHEAD SUPERMAN FIGURINE MADE FOR THE SINGAPORE NAVY

These past 3 years had been constantly doing custom 3d figurine's for Singapore Army, Navy & Air force. They usually do it for their officers or colleagues birthday, passing out parade, dinner & dance, promotion celebration etc...

This time heard from they navy guy's that they were doing it for their officer's who will be leaving their ship to other ship...So should be a farewell gift's.

Actually they wanted to do a total fully custom 3d figurine. But they had only less than 10 days...So eventually settled on our standard design with custom wordings added to the base.

So, managed to get it out within 10 days as they upgrade the order's to express order's with additional surcharge....

CUSTOM 3D CARICATURE LOVELY COUPLE FIXED OR BOBBLEHEAD FIGURINES ON GARDEN THEME BACKFROUND

This was actually my buddy Jit customer's order. They actually pop by his place to place the order at his place.

Heard from him that they just went up to his place without letting him know & lucky he was at home.

This design was also one of our latest couple design... It can also go with other background beside the garden one...

ANOTHER DIFFERENT THEME - CUSTOM 3D CARICATRUE WEDDING THEME COUPLE FIGURINES ON BIKE

This was actually a customer's order...She actually had been discussing with me for around a month before finally decided on this design.

Heard from her that she will be using the custom made figurines for 3 purposes. First, will be placing at the guest arrival hall for displayed. After which, will used it as Wedding Cake Topper to be display on the cake which they will be cutting. Lastly, after the whole event's...Will bring back home for displayed...

Wow, sure worth it...Actually her base was a custom tiles made base not what it showing here...
Anyway, the bike can actually go with other backgrounds or bases. It is not fitted onto the base. So, customers can have their choice to do their own matching...

This month I-S Magazine did feature about our Unusually Product's

Today got quite a numbers of enquires calling up to find out more about our Unusually products. And were told that they saw an article at I-S Magazine featuring our products...

Actually I was been contacted by their editor's 2 weeks ago to get our permission to feature our products on their magazine.

Haha, not sure why out of so many design, they decided to use the custom 3d caricature dog for the article...

FULL CUSTOM 3D CARICATURE WEDDING TOPPER FIGURINES TO BE USED AS WEDDING FAVORS

This was ordered by a French couple's who getting married on 8th or Aug 2008 - 8/8/2008...

They actually made a standard 7" to be used as their Wedding Cake Topper. And they also ordered from us additional fully custom 3d caricature mini wedding figurines made to look like them to be given as wedding favors to their relatives & friends.

The sizes for these were only ard 3" tall... Total they ordered 110 sets in all.

FULL CUSTOM 3D CARICATURE CINDERELLA FIGURINE

This was ordered as a Full Custom Order. So customer's will have the choice to request on the type of dressing, attire & posture they wanted...

The base for the figurine to stand on was also fully customised to match with the figurine.

Usually for standard delivery for full custom figurine will be around 3-4 weeks. But for this order's, we managed to rush out within 3 weeks for customer's...

Revamp Male Golfer Design - Can be made into either fixed or bobblehead - Job done for Lionhart (Asia) Pte Limited

This was a rush order placed last week. It was done for "Lionhart (Asia) Pte Limited" ...And they are bringing this to London to present to the person...

They contacted me last week and need it by this week as they will be flying off on 4th Aug 08 to London & wanted to bring the custom 3d figurine with them..


So, this order was placed as "Express" order and today it ready for collection. Waiting for their courier guy to pick up when I am typing this... : )


This is also our revamp "Male Golfer" design...Can anyone see the different...We had up-sized (haha MacDonald) the figurine height and also amended the grass base to a rectangle base instead of the old version oval base which was much smaller...This design can be made into either fixed or bobblehead figurine...

Ooops, today wake up first thing start my computer and prepared to work...Heard from my buddy Jit that my Blog page rank was been upgraded to 3/10...Hahhaa : ) All must be thanks to him as my blog was link to his and his was already rank 4 long ago...

A UNIQUE & SPECIAL BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR A BEST FRIEND (ALSO HER "SISTER" DURING HER WEDDING DAY)

This was actually ordered by my customer's for her best friend. She actually met up with me with her hubby to discuss about this order 3 weeks ago.

Last Thursday, they collected this done up figurines at my place and was very happy with the end products. But on Sunday, received a call from her hubby telling me that they accidentally damaged the hairs for both dolls. And whether I could helped out with the repaired immediately as they were going to give to their friend on the day itself. (Still can remembered received his call at around 2pm++ on Sunday)

Our of goodwill as he told me his wife was very upset over this incident's. I rushed back with my family's waiting for him to bring the doll to me for repaired. Around 4pm he came over to my place and the extend of damaged were worst than what I had expected. I spend around 1.5hrs to get it back to it original state with some changes to one of the doll hairstyle. : p

My customer's wanted to pay me for the services but I never took as I can really feel they really appreciate our products and they were sincere and friendly too. Maybe artist's all have wired character's...Usually for such services, I will collect at least SGD 50 per figurine or doll repaired.

But he did treat me to few cigarettes while I am doing the repairing... Hahaha : p

Hehe...It always good to be appreciated. Singaporean still very stingy of doing so. But for my western customers at US & Euro markets. We always received compliments or thank you emails when they received their figurines.

Anyway, I too welcome suggestions, complaints(if any) etc...Right now, we don't really have any complaints from customers when they collect their dolls/ figurines....

FULL CUSTOM FIGURINE CREATED FOR MEDIACORP TV PROGRAM - 明星特派员 (A* PLANNERS) FOR FILMING PURPOSES

This was created very last minute for one of Mediacorp TV Program shown on Channel 8... 明星特派员 (The shown title)...

The producer's called me and told me that their last episode of A* Planners hosted by Jeff Wang and guest invited actress will be our Singapore "Ah Jie" - Zoe Tay...will be keen to film our Unusually product's. But we would needed to help them to rush out a full custom figurine related to Bruce Lee Theme for their show's purposes...

On the filming day itself...WOW more than 10 persons turned up at our office for the TV Program Filming...Hehe I did appear on the TV show for around 2-3 mins...to discuss about the figurine ideas with Zoe Tay.

Basically the purposes of the program was that someone entrusted the show to surprise one of his best friend who was going to migrate to US. And his best friend was a super fan of Bruce Lee and this was how our Unusually Products was involved...

A LAST MINUTE JOB'S DONE FOR PHILLIP - CUSTOM CARICATURE DIGITAL DRAWING TO BE IN-PRINT ON KEY-RING

This was done for Phillip Electronics (Singapore)... They called us to check whether we can proposed any special exclusive & unique custom gift's for them.

It was meant as a annually company's appreciation gift's for their staffs...Heard the events was held in a luxurious resort & these gifts will be presented by their GM to the staffs as a appreciation gifts for their efforts & contributions to the company's.

They told us their budget & quantities. As the budgets & quantities were pretty small we eventually came out with these ideas. Get individual staff photo & draw them into a caricature drawing & in-print them onto a personalised key ring.

As I had done a few job's for them before. So this time a special package was arranged in order to meet with their tight budget's.

Never charged them for express charges, drawing to be in-print on a postcard beside the key ring which they wanted. As the GM need the drawn up caricature drawing of each individual staff to be printed onto a postcard so that he could write something on it for each of the staff.

And 52 digital caricature drawings, custom postcard & key rings were rushed out within a week.

Haha..Heard from my clients that they event's went well & the staffs receiving the gifts do really like it but was attacked by lots & lots of mosquitoes during their stayed at the resort...

FULL CUSTOM 3D CARICATURE RUGBY BOBBLEHEAD FIGURINE DONE FOR NORTEL ASIA

This order was actually ordered by Nortel Asia for their CEO who been posted back. They wanted to do a full custom design as they wanted to do their boss in his favourite rugby team
jersey etc.

During collection, they send their courier to pick up. And the next day, they called me to told me that one of the leg was broken which we were very sure that when we handed over to their company's courier that time was in 100% good condition.

And they kept telling me there will be more business between us & wanted me to remake another for them. And our of good-will again, we re-made another for them not because of looking for more business but just want to provide good services.

When I collected back the first piece. I can see that the damages of the figurine's should be due to their mis-handled. But I also don't wished to comment much as consumers are always right.
This order's actually suffered losses badly...Hard Luck.... : (

MY OWN CUSTOM 3D CARICATURE BOBBLEHEAD FIGURINE (LATEST DESIGN) - EXECUTIVE BUSINESSMAN

This figurine of mine arrived yesterday. It is actually our new man design's. This design can be made either as fixed or bobblehead figurine. Happened today re-arranging my display samples at my place and saw this. So took a photo and post it up. Does it resemble me??
